What is Wearable Art? It's what happens when you put Fashion, Costume, Theatre and Art in a blender. Sound confusing? It's something you'll need to see to believe: so join us for SWAG 2026 and witness the very best of Australia's established and emerging Wearable Art designers as they showcase their wild, outrageous and innovative creations on stage at the iconic Enmore Theatre.
This year’s theme is UTOPIA, sees a world of limitless possibility. From visions of futuristic societies to personal interpretations of perfection, UTOPIA encourages bold storytelling and imaginative exploration. Each creation will be a labour of love, meticulously crafted with exceptional skill, boundless creativity, and fearless innovation, bringing to life inspiring visions of a better world and the extraordinary potential of human imagination.
Sydney Wearable Art Gala will also feature a panel of industry experts. And! There’s heart behind the spectacle: $5 from every ticket goes to Father Chris Riley’s Youth Off The Streets, supporting young people facing homelessness in Sydney.
