Enmore Theatre is located at 118-132 Enmore Rd, Newtown NSW 2042.

Due to limited timed on street parking we strongly recommend arriving via public transport or taxi service.

If you are planning to drive we recommend booking a reserved parking spot to avoid the hassle of finding a spot or receiving a fine.

Public Transport

The Newtown Precinct is well served by public transport with both trains and buses, late into the evening.

  • Trains If arriving by train alight at Newtown Train Station. From here it is a 6 minute walk to Enmore Theatre.
  • Buses If arriving by bus the 355, 423, 426, 428, M30 services all stop out front of Enmore Theatre. If you are coming from the Eastern Suburbs the 352 and 355 services depart from Bondi Junction, and the 370 service departs from Coogee and travels through Randwick. Alight at Newtown Train Station and from here it is a 6 minute walk to Enmore Theatre.

Planning to drive? Avoid the hassle of finding street parking in Newtown and reserve a space at our secure Enmore Theatre Car Park. Each parking ticket guarantees one parking spot on the night of your show, just a 10 minute walk from the theatre. Spaces are limited, so be sure to book early.

Parking is open from 6:00pm and closes at midnight.
Weekend parking is available 1 hour prior to the event for all events earlier than 6pm.

Please note for any cars that need to be collected after lockout, the carpark will re open from 9am-5pm Mon-Fri (excluding Saturday’s, Sunday’s & public holidays). Alternatively call our Box Office on 9550 3666 between 9am-5pm Mon-Fri to arrange a pickup time outside these hours. A fee will apply.

The Enmore Theatre is an All Ages venue with 3 Licensed Bar facilities. The Bars offer confectionery, snacks, soft drinks and alcohol. The following forms of I.D are required to purchase alcoholic beverages: current Driver License, Proof of Age card or current Passport.


Conditions of Entry
Conditions of Entry

To ensure the safety of other patrons, the following conditions of entry apply:

– ID
ID is required to enter the venue. We accept a valid Driver’s License, Passport or Proof of Age Card.

– Bags
We reserve the right to conduct bag searches. All backpacks, large bags and bulky items MUST be cloaked at the Box Office BEFORE lining up to enter the venue. $3 per item, card only. Cloak Room availability is subject to capacity. Call the Box Office on (02) 9550 3666 to confirm.

– Drugs
We have a zero-tolerance policy towards illicit drugs, including their use, sale and supply. We reserve the right to conduct searches (including pat downs), confiscate illegal drugs and refuse entry on these grounds. Police will be notified immediately upon the discovery of prohibited drugs of any kind.

– Weapons and Violence
We reserve the right to conduct searches (including pat downs), confiscate items and refuse entry to anyone suspected or found to be in possession of a weapon, or any item that may place any person in danger. Police will be notified immediately upon the discovery of any weapon.
We have zero tolerance for violence, so to ensure the safety of our patrons we also reserve the right to refuse entry to those:

  • Displaying disorderly, indecent and quarrelsome conduct
  • Being in possession of any item capable of inciting violence e.g. offensive or discriminatory clothing, banners and other paraphernalia.

– Smoking/Vaping
Smoking and Vaping are prohibited within the venue.

– Intoxication
Patrons showing signs of intoxication will be refused entry, refused service and asked to leave the premises.

– Refusal of Entry
We reserve the right to refuse entry to those who cannot meet our Conditions of Entry.

– External food or drink
External food or drink is not permitted within the venue.

– Cameras
Only personal use photography is allowed, and flash photography is strictly prohibited. You may have to cloak your camera if it is deemed to be professional grade or too large.
