In March 2027, Del Amitri return to Australia with Past to Present: Four Decades of Their Greatest Music, a celebratory tour showcasing the songs that have defined their remarkable career, from their early indie beginnings to international chart success.

Formed in Glasgow in 1982 by Justin Currie, Del Amitri found their long-term creative backbone in guitarist Iain Harvie, whose presence has been central to the band's sound for decades. Their breakthrough came with the 1989 album Waking Hours, featuring the enduring hit Nothing Ever Happens and the irresistibly catchy Kiss This Thing Goodbye. The early '90s brought further global recognition with Always the Last to Know and their biggest US success, Roll to Me, which reached No. 10 on the Billboard Hot 100 and remains a worldwide jukebox favourite.

Across seven studio albums, Del Amitri have sold more than six million records, earning a reputation for sharp songwriting, wry lyricism and melodic, emotionally resonant rock that continues to connect with audiences across generations.

After a hiatus during the 2000s, the band returned for sold-out reunion tours and, in 2021, released Fatal Mistakes, their first collection of new music in 18 years, reaffirming their signature sound for both long-time fans and new listeners. Del Amitri are currently in the studio recording a new album, which is set for release later this year.

In 2027, the band will celebrate their enduring legacy with Past to Present: Four Decades of Their Greatest Music—a powerful, career-spanning Australian tour featuring the songs that have made Del Amitri one of the UK's most beloved bands.
