Sacramento post-hardcore heavyweights Dance Gavin Dance are heading to Australia this November for a national headline tour, joined by special guests The Fall of Troy and Australian-led outfit Galleons. Tickets go on sale Friday 3 July at 11am local time via Destroy All Lines.
The run celebrates their latest album Pantheon while diving deep into their extensive back catalogue, kicking off at The Tivoli in Brisbane on Friday 6 November before heading to Sydney’s Enmore Theatre, Melbourne’s Forum, Adelaide’s The Gov, and finishing at Freo Social in Perth on Thursday 12 November.
Formed in 2005, Dance Gavin Dance have built a reputation as one of alternative music’s most distinctive and genre-defying acts, blending post-hardcore, metalcore, funk and progressive elements across a celebrated catalogue that includes four Billboard Top 15 albums and billions of streams.
Joining them are The Fall of Troy, pioneers of boundary-pushing math rock since 2002, known for their technical intensity and cult 2005 release Doppelgänger, alongside Galleons, the transcontinental post-hardcore collective known for fusing math rock complexity with genre-blurring heaviness.
