Legendary alt-rockers Spin Doctors are heading to Sydney to celebrate the 35th anniversary of their iconic 1991 debut album, Pocket Full of Kryptonite. Returning for the first time since 1993, fans get the chance to celebrate three and a half decades of funk-infused rock, soaring hooks, and the infectious energy that have defined their career.

Armed with two massive singles that helped define the 90s, “Two Princes” and “Little Miss Can’t Be Wrong”, Spin Doctors became one of the most recognisable bands of the era. Pocket Full of Kryptonite  was a global smash, hitting #1 in both Australia and New Zealand, achieving Platinum status in Australia and Gold in New Zealand, and topping charts in multiple countries worldwide.

"I lived in Australia when I was a kid, and I’m friends with Dave Gleeson of Screaming Jets. It’s been something like 30 years since we played Australia, and we’ve never played New Zealand! Way too long! What have we been thinking?!? I’m beside myself with anticipation. I can’t wait to relive good memories, see old and new friends, and rock Pocketful Of Kryptonite!!!" says  Chris Barron, from Spin Doctors.

"We are very excited to be coming back to Australia for the first time in 30 years and to New Zealand for the first time ever to celebrate the 35 anniversary of our debut album, Pocket Full Of Kryptonite. The record did very well down under, and we are so grateful for all the support you have given us in making these songs live on for all these years. We will be playing the album in its entirety, along with other songs of ours and even a few covers that we have been playing lately. It’s going to be a really special tour for us, and we hope to see you there," Aaron Comess from Spin Doctors.

"Really stoked about bringing our Pocket Full Of Kryptonite Anniversary Tour down under! The band has never sounded better, and it has definitely been a minute !!

See you there," Eric Schenkman from Spin Doctors.

As a special treat for fans, the band will perform their iconic album Pocket Full of Kryptonite in its entirety. From intimate clubs to grand theatres, audiences can expect a full-throttle celebration featuring classics like “Two Princes” and “Little Miss Can’t Be Wrong,” plus deep cuts and surprises from across their storied career.
