Sydney – we have an update about tonight’s show and want to be totally open and honest with you on the final date of our tour…

Unfortunately Rob has been suffering with a respiratory illness throughout, and during the Perth show he pushed through and lost his voice. Rob has just seen an ENT doctor and has been diagnosed with an acute vocal haemorrhage, and unfortunately has been advised not to sing (or even speak) so as not to cause any long term damage.

We’ve thought long and hard about what to do tonight. We don’t want to cancel, having not cancelled a single show in 12 years. Instead, we will all be on stage performing as usual alongside the album versions of the vocal and you guys can help us out by singing with us. If anyone wants a refund instead please reach out to the promoters but we promise we’ll still give you a killer show tonight and promise we will be back again for you ASAP! Look forward to seeing you all later

We’re thrilled to announce one of electronic music’s most important and pioneering acts Pendulum will be embarking on their first live Australian tour in eight years, in celebration of their forthcoming album The Reworks; featuring refreshing interpretations of their biggest hits and personal favourites with remixes from Noisia, Skrillex, Knife Party + more.

‘They’re sounding better than ever before’NME

‘What else is there to be said about Pendulum?! The DnB supremos have re-written the rule books of electronic music’ – Snowbombing

Pendulum burst onto the international scene in 2005 with the release of debut album Hold Your Colour which went on to sell over 300,000 copies worldwide. That same year, the band’s remix of The Prodigy’s classic ‘Voodoo People’ hit the Top 20 UK singles chart and electronic dance fans soon came to define the group’s upfront mix of drum & bass and electro house as the ‘Pendulum sound’.

Continuing their run of success, follow-up album In Silico debuted at #2 on the UK Albums Chart and sold over 300,000 copies in the UK alone and #9 on the ARIA chart, before third studio album Immersion went straight in at #1 in the UK and #3 in Australia in 2010. Having played some of the world’s biggest festivals including Glastonbury, Coachella, Download Festival, T in The Park, V Festival, Bestival and Creamfields, Pendulum have become revered for their extraordinary live performances and defining genre-crossing sound.

Following a hiatus from live performances at the end of 2011, Pendulum closed Miami’s Ultra Music Festival in 2016 marking an epic return with their first show in five years. The band went on to perform a 14-date festival run across Europe and Asia, including headlining SW4, We Are Electric, Dreambeach, Weekend Festival, Helsinki and Zurich Open Air, as well as Plus Extra Japan, Korea and Singapore.

With their remix album The Reworks also due to drop June 29, Pendulum have well and truly returned to the dance world with a bang. As one of the most influential dance acts of recent years, these shows are sure to be incredible. Fans are urged to secure tickets now to avoid disappointment!
