Charlie Murphy’s rapid ascent from “Eddie Murphy’s brother/bodyguard” and “Chappelle’s Show” cast member to top-billed international comedian, playing to sold-out audiences around the globe, has been remarkable. He has spent the past six years performing his critically acclaimed stand-up and solidifying his position in Hollywood as a true acting talent, in his own right. Murphy has also been making waves on the big screen, working with some of the biggest names in Hollywood. His feature films have included “A Perfect Holiday”, “Frankenhood”, “Kings Ransom”, and “Roll Bounce”. He also appeared in Chris Rock’s hip-hop parody classic “CB4”, Spike Lee’s “Jungle Fever” and “Mo’ Betta Blues”. Murphy was also seen alongside his brother Eddie Murphy in “Harlem Nights”.
