Theatresports®, an institution with comedy audiences in Sydney, is played in schools, festivals and theatres around the world. Teams of comedy writers, actors and comedians are challenged to create instant sketches, characters and stories based on random audience suggestions. It’s like TV’s Thank God You’re Here and Whose Line Is It Anyway? meets Roller Derby. The victors will attempt to proudly hold aloft the coveted Cranston Cup Trophy…nearly two metres of golden plastic figurines, gaudiness and glory.
