Chugg Entertainment and XIII Touring are pleased to announce that Cold War Kids will be performing an exclusive sideshow at The Enmore Theatre.
Entitled ‘Mine Is Yours, their new album is set for release in January 2011, and was produced by the Grammy Award winning Jacquire King, who has previously worked with the likes of Kings Of Leon and Modest Mouse.
With debut album ‘Robbers & Cowards’ in 2006, Cold War Kids became one of the hottest new bands around, with the tracks ‘Hang Me Up To Dry’ and ‘Hospital Beds’ being some of the most striking releases of recent years.
Frontman Nathan Willett discussed the changes in the band’s personal lives which have influenced the recording of their new LP. ‘I got home from tour and realized I was married,’ he said. ‘All my friends had either jumped in the deep end of a relationship or had drowned.’
‘When did things get so serious? We fought growing up but the wild nights and free-for-all caught up to us. Some people got out in time and others had permanent damage. For this record, I wrote about the joys and failures of commitment all around me.’
