Dave always thought his family was pretty normal. It’s only as he’s getting older that he’s realising that his normal may be a little different to most.
Since being nominated for Best Newcomer at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival in 2007, Dave’s been hailed as one of the most exciting new acts on the stand up circuit.
Showing versatility in his field, Dave has hosted Channel 31’s tonight show, Studio A – a role which earned him four nominations at the Antenna Awards including Outstanding Male Presenter. He’s also had guest appearances on Rove, Good News Week and Talkin’ ‘Bout Your Generation as well as an acting stint with an ongoing role in ABC TV’s Bed of Roses.
As if stand up and acting weren’t enough, Dave recently teamed up with Sophie Monk and Dylan Lewis to co-host the national Nova Summer Breakfast show.
In 2009 Dave performed in Singapore, New York and Edinburgh - now it’s time for Dave to try his first Sydney Comedy Festival on for size with his most challenging show yet.
