Access & Transport
Where possible and certainly if you are coming from within a 10 kilometre radius of the Enmore, we strongly recommend that you arrive by public transport and return by taxi (or public transport). The Newtown Precinct is well served by public transport both trains and buses, late into the evening.
The following bus services stop outside the theatre: 423, 426 and 428 via Circular Quay and Central Station leaving you directly in front of the Theatre. 422 and 370 from (Coogee to Leichhardt) both stop at Newtown Railway Station King St. The station is a 3 minute walk down well-lit Enmore Rd. The Enmore Theatre is a 3 minute walk from Newtown Train Station on King Street. Newtown Station is 3 stops from Central Station, where Newtown trains depart from Platform 19.

Buses

Buses 423, 426 and 428 depart from Circular Quay, travel through the city via Castlereagh Street to Eddy Avenue Haymarket, through George Street Broadway and Newtown and stop directly outside the Enmore Theatre.
Buses 352 and 355 depart from Bondi Junction, and bus 370 departs from Coogee and travels though Randwick and Newtown and stop directly outside Newtown Train Station, which is a 3 minute walk to the Enmore Theatre.
Parking
The secret to enjoying your visit to bustling Newtown is to arrrive early, park, enjoy a drink or a meal and walk colourful King St and Enmore Rd.
Newtown is well served by public transport, and taxis services are plentiful, however if you are driving Newtown offers over 1,000 parking spots as well as off street parking. It is not advisable however to attempt to find street parking immediately around the Enmore Theatre. There is street parking in Gladstone St near the railway line and around Enmore Park off Enmore Rd, a 7 minute walk from the Enmore.
Council Community Parking Areas
- P1. Corner of Enmore and Edgeware Roads. Travelling from City, turn left from Enmore Road into Edgeware Road. Approx 4 minute walk back to the Enmore Theatre.
- P2. Enmore Design TAFE on Edgeware Rd Enmore (just 200 metres further from P1 above). Travelling from City, turn left from Enmore Rd into Edgeware Rd. The car park is 300 metres on the left before Alice St Enmore. This car park is ideal for Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights only. Approx 8 minute walk to Enmore Theatre.
- P3. Corner of Lennox and Church Streets, behind Dendy Cinema & IGA supermarket. Turn into Church Street from King Street. Approx 8 minute walk back to the Enmore Theatre
- P4. Wilson Street – 2 council parking areas. Turn into Wheatley Street from King Street. Approx 8 minute walk back to the Enmore Theatre.
Cloak Room

Venue Bar
The Enmore Theatre is an All Ages venue with 3 Licensed Bar facilities. The Bars offer confectionery, snacks, soft drinks and alcohol. The following forms of I.D are required to purchase alcoholic beverages current Driver License, Proof of Age card or current Passport.
Restaurant Details
The Box office Café (Located within the Theatre complex) is a great place to meet before the show for a coffee. It's booth seating and Art Deco feel sets the mood for any occasion. Open 7 days.
